Maximum Class Size: 4 Our hands-on workshop is ideal for beginners or those needing a refresher in machine sewing. We'll cover the basics of machine operation and core functions. You'll then use these skills to create an Origami Tote Bag from our studio's fabrics. This project is yours to keep and offers a great introduction to essential sewing techniques. Techniques Covered: Getting to know the sewing machine: threading, bobbin winding, adjusting tension Sewing straight lines, corners, and curves Using seam allowances Reading and using a simple paper pattern Cutting and Pinning fabric Pressing, and finishing seams with a zigzag stitch All tools and materials are provided. You’ll work with our fabrics and take home your finished project.
